Alvaro has always wanted to be a movie star. Although he's lived on visas in Los Angeles for years, he's now residing in the States illegally. The longer he stays out of status in the US, the larger the risk grows of deportation and banishment.

As hope begins to fade, Alvaro meets Samantha, a smart, beautiful, American girl. She aspires to be a painter but supports herself with online-camming and sugar-babying. Student debts and a high cost of living drive her way out of her comfort zone.
