How truly valuable is enthusiasm?

Does it really matter or make a difference?

Enthusiasm is the difference between being connected to your purpose or disconnected. I have witnessed people without enthusiasm and people with it, and there is a huge difference. The same holds true for companies, leaders and organizations that cultivate enthusiasm and those who dismiss it. Let's just say, without it, there are some serious consequences.

Enthusiasm is real, and the impact it can have is magical. It is life. It is energy. It is a game changer!

Without enthusiasm, we are zombies who go through the motions with no emotion.

Think about it this way:

Would you want a zombie to perform surgery on you?

Would you want a zombie to babysit your toddlers?

Would you want a zombie to be a caregiver for a loved one?

Would you want a zombie to pilot your flight?

Would you want a zombie to be your accountant?

Would you want a zombie to be a teacher for your children?

Enthusiasm is a powerful ingredient to life, leadership, teamwork, and work. I would call it a must have. In all my research, enthusiasm is by far one of the most potent and powerful ingredients to organizational and life success.
