The naadi system of astrology is a unique method of reading horoscopes. There are many naadi systems, each assigned to a great rishi. One such naadi system is Bhrighu Nandi Naadi. It has been translated into English and Kannada from tamil scriptures by Sri R.G. Rao of Bangalore. Based on his works, author earlier book titled as "PREDICTION SECRETS - Naadi Astrology" deals elaborately with study of horoscopes to give convincing predictions. This work is a sequel to the Brighu Nandi Naadi: A unique system of analysis based on zonal effect of rasis and planets posited therein and influenced by other planets from specified places is the main principle of Bhrigu Nandi Nadi expounded by R.G.Rao of Bangalore.

This is a beginning of research in Naadi Astrology and the days are not far to reach the truth behind the Celestial Matrix influenced by subtle bodies. This is a handbook on Naadi System for the students and astrologers to develop further in the subject.

Based on his works earlier book "Prediction Secrets- Naadi Astrology" was published. In the process of experimentation with the combination of the planets it was found that every birth has a set-pattern of planetary positions. The matrix formed at macro level indicates the purpose of the birth. At micro level with zonal and star influences detailed study of nativity will reveal many secrets. The star level needs to be explored with details of stars from the sacred texts. But the place of birth having different Year Lords, Month Lord, the Day Lord, Hora Lord and Sub Hora Lord have equal influence in differentiating nativities. In this book an effort is made to identify the matrix at macro level for certain births. A deep analysis with the aid of Hora Lords etc will definitely give the purpose of birth. Even with little efforts we can go to previous births. The horoscope of yogis are dealt with reference to Sub Hora Lords. There is also an example of analysing horoscopes having similar planetary combinations.

In a natal chart the Guru represents the native at the subtle level as jeeva and the Mar at the gross level as deha- in female, the Venus represents deha. The idea is to find the matrix of planetary combinations for identifying the purpose of birth of jeeva in this Universe. The natural zodiac which has 12 signs is not just an imaginary belt as being described elsewhere in other astrological texts. In naadi system the zodiac belt represents the entire universe. The detailed study of each rasi and its relation to puranas and vedic texts is well dealt within the jyothirveda. There are many old treatises on astrology which deal with the nakshatras (stars) and grahas (planets), the predictions are based on the combination of significations of the stars and the planets. However, this subject needs to be experimented in the modern context and hopefully a decisive set of principles arrived at to judge a nativity through this system.

Presently, this work is limited to the planets and zodiac signs only and to the principles of Brighu Nandi Naadi which are summarised: "An event/matter signified by a Planet includes the significations of other planets modified favourably or unfavourably blended with rasi karaka and on its relationship, friendly or unfriendly, with other planets placed in 1st, 5th, 9th, 7th, 2nd and 12th places from it. This yoga result is fructified during the transit of a planet in the signs affecting the above places.
