When she was 14, Ashley jumped off a roof, thinking it would be fun, and suffered a permanent spinal cord injury. Her doctors tell her she will never walk again; her mother tells her to get out of bed and on her feet. On Her Feet is the true story of her mother's contagious positive attitude and Ashley's courageous battle to walk against nearly impossible odds.

Despite extensive surgeries and long-term medical complications, 23-year-old Ashley is currently enrolled in a Dog Grooming Program. She plans to start her own business, so she can set her own hours, allowing time to rest between appointments.

A portion of the proceeds from On Her Feet will be used to buy specialized equipment for the business, as Ashley is unable to lift the dogs.
