A group of scientists are recommending extensive forest development for the improvement of environment by reducing pollution. Forest plants produce huge amount of fallen leaves and trees. These organic byproducts and wastes are metabolized on the ground by the microorganisms of soil, water and air. The products of lysis of these herbaceous products also produce green house gases. It is not easy to understand the difference in environmental pollution by green house gases emitted by the herbivorous animals and fermentation by the microorganisms of soil, water and air. The dialogue will continue and simultaneously animal farming will increase to meet the increasing demand of rising human population. Farm animals provide employment for different categories of persons starting from illiterate persons to highly qualified engineers, veterinarians and marketing personnel. The present book will be an appropriate teaching text and guide for the livestock farmers.
