This is a rare look at the old Ghost Buster stories about the Atlantis real magic made of the 'Ancient Meru, Ward of the Gate Rounds'. The book shows the part proofs and study of the existence of not just Atlantis magic or that practice attributed from the days of Atlantis, but of the evidence weighed by the proximity of its own practice in rituals of the historical past. The book shows how certain traditions and folklore can influence local beliefs far longer than written documentation about subjects of lost astral ghosts of another time and culture. Clarke's book is both amazing and very insightful about possible purposes and methods related to the Meru type Bears ancestral origins not just in magic but in Late Paleolithic Man's own processes of thinking that lead to the development of a rare and odd thought form or astral ghost being a slave to a Atlantean owners wishes of being guarded by that summoned were-beast. James Bramwell in his Atlantis book noted this Kent, England story, but the other half of the detail of the belief about this Meru's existence was never explained by either the Ghost Buster or the Ghost itself. Clarke explains the basic format of what it really is and why without the actual material source that it was referenced from. A great sleuth story you can't miss.
