Making potato prints is fun. You plan your picture, thenyou cut or carve the potato into a printing block. But youcan never tell exactly how a picture made from a printing blockis going to look until you print the block on paper. There isalways a moment of discovery when you lift the block offthe paper and see what you have made. In printmaking you can make many, many copies of ofpicture or design.
