Daigo Asahina is fresh out of firefighter training academy and he's raring to go. At first he's cocky and overconfident, but after going out on a few calls, he is soon humbled and put in his place. He's got a lot to learn before he can call himself a true firefighter. Nevertheless, Daigo does discover that he has an uncanny ability to resue people and save lives.
