Throughout history, women have walked the spiritual path despite thorns placed in their way by patriarchy, discrimination and unequal opportunities. This is the story of one such woman, Sri Anandamayi Ma, a dutiful housewife in early twentieth-century India who went on to become a beloved mystic and teacher.
