Ludovico Scarfiotti was a versatile Italian race driver, the nephew of a Fiat executive. He raced Formula 1, sports cars and was an especially talented hill climber in European competitions. Known to his friends as Lulu, his family were in the Italian cement business. Ludovico's most famous triumph was in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza in 1966. Next to this was his victory at Le Mans in 1963, teamed with his countryman Lorenzo Bandini. Ludovico gained much of his experience driving an Osca race car which he entered in minor competitions.
