All people hold on to life and hope to find the beauty so often hidden from them. They fail to understand that the beauty they seek surrounds them at all times. Beauty is in all of life, not just the happy times but what one might consider the hard times as well. How wonderful to be entitled to live even for a short time and know such feelings as love, hate, joy, sadness, beauty, sorrow, and all the feeing that make us human. This is poetry. Life is a book of poetry. Each day we wake and start a new page and do not understand that we are all poets.
