Have you ever thought about what will remain of you after your existence on planet Earth?
I often think about it, but it's not a fear of dying, I call it a desire to live as long as possible, but how long is unknown.
As I write and collect poems for this book, I have been thinking about what will remain of me on this Earth. I'm not talking about material possessions or good or bad actions I have taken. I'm talking about emotions, feelings, and caresses that I have given to someone. Nobody ever thinks about leaving a will for these things, almost nobody remembers to put in writing an emotion they have felt, to leave a trace of the deepest part of their humanity.
I want to leave on my path, from my tiny existence, small living pebbles, the echo of my emotions transformed into verses, hoping that if someone were to search for me tomorrow, they would know where to find me.
I would like to be, for those who love me, like the light of a star that can still be seen from Earth, actually extinguished, who knows how many millions of years ago.
