During a family outing to the Sanja Matsuri festival, tragedy strikes with the reanimation of the gods, Raijin and Fujin.

These tragic events not only expose Tenshi's past and the raw feelings of a hurt son, but also a plot from the god Tsukuyomi to force Tenshi back into servitude to save the realms.

Desperate to stay with his family and find favor in his son's eyes, Tenshi begins the search for the sword of Susanoo, Kusanagi no Tsurugi.
