First Story

Behind Blue Eyes

The eyes are the mask of Blake the Grim Reaper a story about how hard it is for the Reaper to hide behind Blake the coroner's blue eyes he knows the true name of a corpse in his morgue known only as John Doe but can't reveal it.

In walked a policeman in uniform he was puzzled.

"Were you talking to your friend on the slab's ghost? Did he say who he was?" asked the policeman Blake's great uncle the Magician the Red Fox.

"Hmm? Of course not!" scoffed Blake.

"I heard you talking vaguely," said the Fox.

"I was talking to myself, his soul is gone! Even a great Necromancer can't talk to a soul which is not there he's just a shell," said Blake who was a great necromancer.

"It's my party I can be here, Mass," said the drunk reaper. "You're drunk, you shouldn't come in," said Max Starfire. "I'm not drunk! I didn't know you had a twin?" said the reaper looking at an invisible nonexistent man induced by drink. "I don't I'm an only child," said Max nervously as the reaper pushed passed him.
