We have spent more than two months in New Caledonia and if at the beginning we had been not so enthusiastic in writing a guide about it, we've changed our mind gradually by discovering real gems on these great and so beautiful island. It's true that after living for three years in Martinique and its gorgeous beaches, we were thinking that we'll find the same spots here and were a little bit disappointed. Nevertheless, we succeeded in finding breathtaking beaches with stunning lagoons... so patience is one of the keywords in New Caledonia. As for nature, it conquered us from the start with its incredible diversity, perhaps the richest we have ever encountered so far.
