A traumatized Daniel Currie cannot stop watching television as a way to cope with his memory of finding, at age 15, his father frozen to death in his car on Cape Cod during the Blizzard of 1978. Daniel lives his days adrift in memories of television programs as he once viewed them compared to how he views them in the present. He can't shake the nagging insuation that his televised universe, as he imagines it, is more of a reality than the one he inhabits.
