Sophie Byrne is a typical young Irish woman who decides to unwind by taking a vacation to Bristol, Tennessee. Once there, she hopes to leave all the stress that she has accumulated from her counseling job behind, as well as hike a few woodland trails in the meantime.

But when she unexpectedly meets a young man by the name of Paul McLane, all her plans change. She now has to navigate a vacation in a strange land, as well as a budding romance with a man who becomes more interesting each and every time that Sophie meets him.

Will this young man prove to be the bane of her vacation? Or will Paul prove to be something sweet, perhaps even more so than the wondrous vacation that Sophie plans to have?
