William Gladstone, the great British statesman, deemed the United States Constitution to be "the most wonderful work ever struck off at any given time by the brain and purpose of man." This document formed the structure and governmental order for the new republic. The great principles embodied therein, in concert with Christianity, became the foundational means and guide which enabled America to become the most blessed, prosperous, and free nation on earth. We now are fronted with a constitutional crisis which threatens to undermine the whole edifice upon which the republic and its order were rested. The very survival of America, as founded, depends on the restoration of the constitutional order as ordained by "we the people."
