Book 1, WHITE AS SNOW:

When young Schneewittchen, Princess of Allemand, meets her new stepmother Elspeth, she believes she finally has the maternal figure her life has been missing. But when her father dies of a sudden illness, Schneewittchen finds herself at the mercy of Elspeth's wrath. Turned from princess to a servant, she does all that she can to please her stepmother in hopes that one day, she will love her like she was her own.

Elspeth wants nothing to do with Schneewittchen. She can't even properly pronounce the girl's name and resorts to using the Common Tongue's variant: Snow White. When her crown becomes jeopardized with the king's death, an unsettling jealousy towards her stepdaughter consumes her.

But the crown isn't the only thing on Elspeth's mind. Locked in a tower on the outskirts of the kingdom is Elspeth's daughter, just one of the many secrets she is desperate to keep from coming to light. And when an unexpected visit from a prince threatens to unravel everything she has worked towards, Elspeth knows there is only one solution: kill Snow White.

As Elspeth conspires to destroy the princess, her daughter Rapunzel begins to feel neglected. Hidden from the world because of the black markings on her arm, Rapunzel contemplates her purpose and whether her life is worth living. Little does she know that she is one of nine keys crucial to lifting a curse her mother is hellbent on keeping alive...

Book 2, STROKE OF MIDNIGHT:

Ever since her mother, unrecognizable and frail, clambered into the tower nearly one year ago, Rapunzel has been in misery. Living together is not the dream she pictured, and so when Elspeth announces she will be traveling for an extended time, Rapunzel is relieved. But when a mysterious prince stumbles up on the tower, everything Rapunzel thought she knew is thrown into question.

In François, the king announces a royal ball and decrees that all eligible maidens attend—which includes Elodie. Madame Masson forbids her to go, but with a bit of magic, Elodie finds herself in sparkling ballgowns and ornate carriages each night of the ball. On the final evening, the prince reveals his intentions to announce Elodie as his bride, to which she panics and flees. As the prince then searches the kingdom for his mysterious bride, Elodie is horrified to learn just how far her stepmother is willing to go to get one of her daughters on the throne.

On the outskirts of the kingdom, Amabelle dodges Stéphane's incessant proposal. But while her sisters are away at the ball and her father unexpectedly travels to Meerreichen, Amabelle has a near accident that causes her to reconsider the conceited huntsman's offer.

Meanwhile in Neverland, Hooke attempts to contact Wendy, and Aerwyna grows anxious as her song matures.

And in D'or, a missing king upsets a political betrothal, and Princess Sajni meets a unique visitor at the well in the castle gardens...

Book 3, THE CURSED FOREST:
