God the Father sent his only begotten Son, Jesus, to this world to reach out to his people who got lost. Father God gave his Son the power to perform miracles to prove that Jesus Christ is the Redeemer sent by him. Jesus performed mighty miracles when he was in this world. "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord."
