Self-care has become an increasingly popular term in recent years, and for good reason. With the ever-increasing demands of modern life, it's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily responsibilities and forget to take care of ourselves. However, the importance of self-care cannot be overstated, as it plays a critical role in maintaining both physical and mental health.
Self-care is defined as the practice of taking deliberate actions to preserve or improve one's physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This can include a wide variety of activities, such as exercising regularly, eating a healthy diet, practicing mindfulness, getting enough sleep, and engaging in hobbies or social activities.
The concept of self-care is not new, and has been recognized by cultures around the world for centuries.
