Holtes & Sietsma is the author duo behind the thrilling BACK-UP trilogy.
Behind this pseudonym are the Dutch writers Bert Holtes and Wop Sietsma, who each bring a wealth of diverse experiences to their storytelling.

Both were born in 1957—Bert in Alkmaar, North Holland, and Wop in Sneek, Friesland—and have been partners in life for nearly fifty years.
While their careers took them in different directions, they have always been each other's support.

Bert's professional journey led him through various fields: from the fragrant workshop of a pastry chef to the adventurous life of a Marine (2ZM), and from upholding the law as a police officer to becoming an entrepreneur and executive in different industries.
