Avery Monroe has been living in hiding ever since she witnessed a high profile murder. A few years later, her family feels it's safe enough for her to go on a spring break cruise. After all, she'd be secure and secluded with her friends on a ship. While on board, Avery does her part in keeping a low profile, but inadvertently finds herself in the middle of a missing person's investigation.

The only thing that may keep her from being the next victim is a chance encounter with another secretive traveler known as J.P. The problem is, he isn't on the passenger manifest, and he's working even harder than her to stay off the grid. Each are faced with uncomfortable decisions that could drift them closer to exposure and revelations that neither of them are prepared for.
