The story "Sui and Tang Dynasty" tells of the rebellion headed by Wagangzhai at the end of the Sui Dynasty. He assembles the generals persecuted by Emperor Sui Yang, overthrows the Sui Dynasty and establishes the Tang Dynasty. In the last years of the Sui Dynasty, the imperial court was corrupt, Emperor Yang was faint, and the government was ruled by treacherous nepotism. Forty-six heroes, led by Qin Qiong, Xu Maogong, Cheng Yaojin and others, formed an alliance with blood, determined to eliminate the faint emperor, and change the day. They established an anti-Sui Rebellion army in Wagang Mountain, recruited heroes and wise men, fought numerous bloody battles with the officers and soldiers of the Sui Dynasty, and united their forces in Siping Mountain. Their goal was to eliminate Yang when Emperor Yang Guang went to Yangzhou to watch the flowers. The Sui Dynasty was defeated at Siping Mountain. Qin Qiong and others helped Li Shimin, the king of Qin, destroy the heroes, assisted Li Yuan to proclaim the emperor in Chang'an, and established the Great Tang empire to dominate the world.
