At the Queen Mother's birthday feast, Fairy Baihua offended Fairy Chang'e and swore to her that if she did not follow the rules, she would become mortal and suffer forever. Hou Xinyue Fox descended to the world under the emperor's edict, and when she was leaving, Chang'e told her to let all the flowers bloom in order to show her prestige. Therefore, Xinyue Fox in the lower realm, reincarnated as a daughter in a military family, and was later summoned into the palace by Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty and recognized as a person of great talent. When Wu Zetian abolished the Tang Dynasty and established Zhou, one day, there was a heavy snowfall. She became so drunk that all flowers were in full bloom. Unfortunately, Baihua Fairy left, and the flower gods had no way to ask for instructions. To "be showy in an untimely time, to flatter oneself before the world lord, causing disorder on earth". Thereafter the Jade Emperor demoted Baihua Fairy to the corporeal world.
