The Lost Apothecary is a first novel that is both provocative and addictive. It is about secrets, retribution, and the surprising ways in which women may save each other despite the passage of time. The story has crackling tension, memorable characters, and piercing insight.

A mysterious apothecary shop may be found tucked away in the alleyways of eighteenth-century London, and it serves a very specific type of customer. Women all around the city talk about a shadowy character known as Nella, who is rumored to sell well-disguised poisons to women so that they might fight back against the controlling males in their life. Nevertheless, the apothecary's future is put in jeopardy when her youngest customer, a brilliant child of twelve years old, makes a tragic error. This sets off a chain of events that reverberate through the decades.

In the meantime, in London in the current day, an aspiring historian named Caroline Parcewell celebrates her tenth wedding anniversary by herself, attempting to escape her own troubles. Her life and the life of the apothecary clash in a surprising twist of fate when she discovers a clue to the unsolved apothecary murders that haunted London two hundred years ago. However, not everyone will make it through this turn of events unscathed.
