New friends. New monsters. New dangers ...
It's been three months since Zeke Funklestone saved the monsters from Helmut Frankenstein's murderous plans. As a result, he and his monster friends formed S.C.A.R.E.D. (The Society for Cryptozoological Advocacy, Relocation, Education, and Defense) Now all of his spare time is spent traveling around Portland taking care of the growing monster population.
He's exhausted. His grades are suffering. His mom is worried. And worst of all, he can't ask for help or the monsters may be discovered. He hopes that a trip to a paleontology camp over Spring Break will cure his S.C.A.R.E.D. blues.
Meanwhile, Lydia Ramos–still reeling from the giant spiders in the thrift store last Christmas–is offered an internship with a mysterious organization in need of her specific skills and experience.
Unfortunately for both kids, Spring Break is about to spin wildly out of anyone's ability to control. And when their stories collide, nothing will ever be the same.
