BIOGRAPHY
American singer-songwriter Loretta Lynn was born in 1932. Throughout her six-decade career in country music, Lynn was a prolific gold record producer.
In addition to "You Ain't Woman Enough (To Take My Man)," "Don't Come Home A-Drinkin' (With Lovin' on Your Mind)," "One's on the Way," "Fist City," and "Coal Miner's Daughter," she also had a number of other popular songs. In 1980, Coal Miner's Daughter, a movie based on her life, was produced.
Lynn won accolades from the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music as a duet partner and a solo performer, among other recognitions for her pioneering work in the genre.
