During June 14 – 17, 2007, the International Institute for General Systems Studies (IIGSS), Inc., (a scholastic nonprofit organization, established for the purpose of advancing science and technology in 1995), held its 5th Workshop in Wuhan, China. Over 400 scholars from more than 23 different countries and geographic regions participated in this important event. All major areas of systems research were represented at the workshop. This e-book features selected papers which have been expanded and revised after peer review.
