Quin and Vera, two striking, wisecracking, and highly intelligent human-like aliens land their ship, the Ravon in Washington DC. They have traveled here for the explicit purpose of confirming the information retrieved by their planet's past data-gathering fly-bys. Ethirians are incredulous as to some of the belief systems inherent in human beings and want to confirm their findings and satisfy their curiosity about the Earth's inhabitants. Quin and Vera meet the President, are introduced to the world, and are then sent to various conferences around the country to address varying topics. They speak on religion, environmental issues, and the dumbing down of America, mainly to confirm the outrageous and implausible information they have learned about this little spot in the universe.
Quin and Vera are witty, politically incorrect, inciteful, and filled with wonder and amazement at what earthlings, especially Americans, believe. They are being escorted around the country by the head of the NSA and the daughter of the President of the United States. The relationships between the four soon blossom into more than that of mere guest and chaperon.
Certain "special" powers possessed by the aliens are gradually revealed. They can communicate with each other through thought transference, and their private conversations about their host country and people are revealing, biting, and oft- times humorous. Ride along this amusing, thought provoking and stimulating trip with Quin and Vera as they wisecrack and share information with America and their handlers.
