Annotation

The events of the novel take place in a fictional country of Eastern Europe today. The story tells about the Linda family, one of the most powerful families of this state, engaged in large-scale entrepreneurial, as well as socio-political activities. Events unfold a year and a half after a very bloody and lengthy war, after which the country is just beginning to get on its feet. Noble members of the Linda family, no matter what, yearn to achieve justice for the entire nation, in a time of prosperous oligarchy, corruption and crime with impunity. The family, and above all its head Virgil Linda, is unquestioningly ready to join the battle for justice and the fulfillment of all the good hopes of the nation, but no one could even imagine what it would lead to and what this very good justice would really cost...
