ADDICTION

I yearned for a solution

I found a problem

An addiction

Without which

Nothing made sense

All I wanted was to be

In a place of no sorrows!

No resent

I wanted to be known

I wanted to be understood

I was endangered to depression

Which was setting me up for destruction

All because of adddiction

I found love in the woods

Amongst wolves in sheep's clothing

They showed that which

I thought was love

I got a new family

Caged by addiction

All for temptation

So I thought

A little inhalation and sniffing

The piercings and drinking

Few minutes into the ninth heaven

All for my obsession

The elock ticked faster than I could hold

onto

I wish I could turn back its hands

Cause my pleasure was momentous

But then the inevitable came

Knocking at my door

No one to blame

They looked at me in shame

My life is about to fade

Locked in the cage of addiction

When is the hour of restoration?
