The Mad as Hell anthology is a collection featuring poems expressing the collective anger we all feel toward the current sociopolitical and economic conditions of the nation and the world. This anthology seeks to explore how we can turn our anger into art and how we can give poets a voice for the things that make them mad as hell and which they won't take anymore. Simple Simons Press sought out poems that explore rage, anger, outrage, and fear by naming that which angers. Think Alan Ginsberg and "Howl!" or Gil Scott Herron and "The Revolution Will not be Televised," or contemporary Slam poetry. This poetry should disturb the comfortable and comfort the disturbed.
