In the middle of the night, a man with ghostly memories arrives at a gas station on a rural road. He is unaware that he brought something along. A conventional stop at a corner store around midnight changes into a battle for endurance for a few groups. Until Jake confronts his past and makes amends for his actions, nothing will be resolved. The darkness cannot finally abandon them at that point.
