Destiny Hope Cyrus was given the name Miley Ray Cyrus on November 23, 1992 in Franklin, Tennessee. She was raised by Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus in Thompson's Station, Tennessee. Two half-brothers, a half-sister, a younger brother and sister, and two full siblings make up her family of five.Due to her upbeat personality, Miley eventually replaced her childhood nickname, Smiley.
