In 2004, under sedation undergoing open-heart surgery (5 bypass), Pastor Glen S. R. Carlson envisioned he was at the gates of Heaven. At that time, Jesus appeared and said to him, "Your time is not now, for I want you to listen to My voice through My written Word."
When Glen awoke, he could remember the reality of the vision and began contemplating its meaning. Even though he does not claim to be a writer, he began with greater insight listening for and writing down the voice of Jesus in each verse throughout the letters of the New Testament.
Following this reawakening of both body and spirit, Glen was led by the Holy Spirit to begin listening to the voice of Jesus in the 150 Psalms, and in the process, reveal the Messianic nature of Psalms.
