October10, 2015, "JC" Forkner, an aging and washed-up pool player, steals cash from an unproffessional hitman named Black Berry. He wants it back. The money, however, originally belonged to Juan Hernandez and the Mexican Cartel. They want it back. They case him and his pool playing prodigy son from southern California to a small town in northern Arizona.

The stakes and outcome of a nine-ball game in the back room of an old saloon called the Last Chance turns the town into a circus,and brings JC full circle to where it all began for him.
