Mr. Yagyagan learned to write haiku poems in the fourth grade at Waialua Elementary School in Hawai'i. Since then, he has written volumes of haikus over the years and accumulated them. His earlier poems were tossed out by his stepmom after he left for college. So, he simply started all over again. This is the first publication of his poems that are linked to the photos he has taken in his Chula Vista and San Diego communities. he writes of the human spirit and how it is linked to nature.
