When D'Artagnan travels to join the King's Own Chickadees, he's attacked by ruffians. His letter of introduction is stolen, he literally runs into three Chickadees who challenge him to a duel, and he can't find a healthy snack! Can his day get worse?

Happily, the Chickadees take pity on him, and they decide to help. Soon they're flying to save the Duck de Birdingham from a plot that's worse than this one!
