Kesar's baby sister Kamal will not sleep through the night and her parents are exhausted. Even the neighbors in their village bordering the Great Rann of Kutch are kept awake by the infant's cries. When Kesar and Kamal's ba comes to visit, her stories and handmade cloth chakli birds give Kesar a wonderful idea.
