Nina & Mani, the wife & husband detective team, are returning from a vacation in Costa Rica aboard a schooner bound for San Francisco. On board are the Reverent Al Jackson and his wife, who've spent ten years in the Solomon Islands converting the local people. Ms. Thomas, an African American woman of questionable morals, is also on board. She disturbs everyone by playing loud music and partying with the sailors. A once-in-a-hundred-year storm blows them into San Francisco Bay, where they are stranded on Treasure Island and must stay for ten days because of the Covid-19 protocol. The Rev. Al Jackson is determined to convert Ms. Thomas and redeem her and his life.
