This book is read-along version. Kay has disappeared without trace. Gerda is determined to find him, wherever he might be, and sets out on her mission to search for him. First, she goes to the river to seek its help, but the river rejects her efforts. Finding a little boat, she is borne down the river by its currents, and is eventually pulled ashore by an old woman. The old woman seems friendly, but she actually works against Gerda. What are the old woman's motives?
