Franco Harris

Franco Harris (born March 7, 1950) is a former American professional football player who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks. He is best known for his tenure with the Steelers, where he was a four-time Pro Bowl selection and won four Super Bowl championships.

Harris attended Rancocas Valley Regional High School in Mount Holly, New Jersey, and then attended Penn State University, where he was an All-American running back for the Nittany Lions. He was selected by the Steelers in the first round of the 1972 NFL Draft and spent the majority of his professional career with the team. Harris was named to the Pro Bowl four times (1974, 1975, 1977, and 1979) and was the MVP of Super Bowl IX.
