This module is prepared to cater to the increasing expectation on employees'performance in facing challenges in the workplace configuration and their impacton human resource development, employment and industrial relations. This moduleaims to provide useful insight in managing an organization, as well as for members toevaluate the effective implementation of their current Human Resource Management(HRM) practices, particularly in adapting new workplace expectations. As moreuncertainties arise in the business environment, the system used to manage humanresources must be transformed to achieve current organizational goals. This is notjust to maintain organizational competitiveness, but most importantly, it ensures thesurvival of the company through challenging times. Organizations have witnessedmany unexpected events. not only due to economic or political pressure, but alsocaused by unprecedented environmental disruptions. Thus, the ability to utilize thecapability of current human resource will play a significant role in determining thebest strategy for organizations to adapt with those changes.
