On the surface, Naaman's problem was the disease of leprosy, but his greater problem was his pride. Once he was willing to bend and accept the prophet's advice God was able to cure him. This can be linked with Jesus' statement in Mark 10:15 that "whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it".
