College freshman Tada Banri has a very questionable past. Eager to make a fresh start, Banri enrolls in an elite Tokyo law school and soon befriends fellow freshman Yanagisawa Mitsuo—but it appears his new pal has some baggage of his own.  Her name is Kaga Kouko, another new student, who slaps Mitsuo across the face with a bouquet of roses.
