A songwriter, land theologian, Earth Samaritan, and United Methodist pastor in Eugene, Oregon, Rev. Pitney coordinates a ministry called "That's My Farmer," which brings churches together with farm families. Since 1986 he has been writing songs, and traveling and speaking to bring a sacred ethic to the discussion of land and justice. The title of this lecture is, "Justice From Gene to Table: Reclaiming Our Food System and the Future of Daily Bread."
