On the distant world of Kosos, on the fringes of what is now human dominated space, an Ursuan named Corvidal is trying their best to live quietly and stay out of trouble. But staying under the radar can be tricky when you're a nine-foot tall being with razor sharp claws and teeth that resembles one of Earth's biggest mammalian predators.
