Once our ancestors figured out how to cook their food, they shrunk their intestines and quadrupled their brain size. And they wondered, what else can we improve? At that, optimism was born, and it changed everything. Survival of our species no longer depended primarily on reproduction, but on innovation. As a result, the world today is better, safer, healthier, more comfortable and more entertaining for the vast majority of us than ever before.


And we're just getting started.
