In his 3rd book on COVID-19, G. Ashish Kalra outlines a panacea in 'The Zero Covid Solution'. Recurring animal viruses like Marburg, Hendra, Nipah, MERS, SARS, and now COVID-19 have been caused due to consumption of animals. Mr. Kalra uses the Theory of Furin cleavage sites in Bat Coronaviruses and explain the causes of these animal viruses and respiratory pandemics. He finally argues that 'disruption of the animal food chain' is necessary to prevent these respiratory pandemics going forward.
